  About AcoustiCase™

AcoustiCase™ is a range of PC cases designed with quietness in mind AND that include a kit of designed and pre-cut specialist soundproofing materials with comprehensive instructions for easy assembly. Self-assembly will normally take between 25-30 minutes for each case.

Now with improved anti-vibration feet and unique soft fan mounts! These cases now come with anti-vibration HDD cage mounts, soft fan mountings, soft case feet AND an effective dust filter!

We recommend this case for the following users/usage:

• Recording Studio Systems, Music Rooms, Practice Studios, and Professional Audio Equipment facilities
• Small Business Servers, Graphics and Video Workstations (where multiple HDD are essential)
• Performance Gaming and Overclocked Specialist Systems

Cooling

The acoustic materials have been carefully designed to maintain and optimize the cooling efficiency of each case. Cool air is drawn from outside over the CPU and warm components, is warmed, and then expelled by the power supply unit (PSU) and internal case fans (optional). We recommend system and component temperatures are monitored closely if no internal case fans are used. Note: Internal case fans or a PSU are not supplied with any of the AcoustiCase™ range in order to allow for the option of installing quiet components (see 'Where to Buy' for further details about resellers of quiet components; you may also be interested in our AcoustiFan™ quiet range of case fans and fan mounting accessories).

Safety

The acoustic materials have been carefully selected to meet stringent flammability standards and have been thoroughly tested in this respect.

Anti-Vibration

PC components are becoming increasingly quiet - which is a trend we greatly value - but little attention has been made to vibration - which can be an annoying source of unwanted noise. Components inside PCs, like HDDs, PSUs, and cooling fans need to be quiet AND low vibration, otherwise they transmit vibration to case sides and other areas or components - even outside the PC - which in turn generate noise. We have designed our cases to include innovative low vibration features - like rubber case feet.
