"The final question, how did it perform? I thought this matting was great, before I could hear the computer from the other end of the corridor upstairs which is about 8m away. Since installing the matting, I can only hear the computer if I am sitting right next to it... I must say that the only other problem I thought I was going to have was that having a highly overclocked CPU, that my case temperature rocketed but I was quite surprised when it had only risen by 1-2°C at most. My CPU temperatures weren't affected at all and the case temperatures went from about 27°C to about 29-31°C depending on what I was running." Awarded the 'XM Stamp of Approval'. [full review]

"... there certainly is a noticeable reduction in the noise ... immediately we all noticed the squeak from the harddrive had almost gone. Open the side of the case, yep the squeaks still there, shut the side, and the squeak is now almost inaudible … the AcoustiPack proved itself.
